3 Keys to Generating Targeted Web Traffic

Gather Your Crowd had the honor recently of interviewing Nadir Hussain, Co-Owner & COO of Media Flint, a premier provider of Internet advertising and marketing solutions. It was at a Traffic Bootcamp seminar where Nadir covered over a 6-hour period many, many topics of which there was time only to scratch the surface. Here are some of the items discussed: Paid Search, Keyword Research, Keywords for the Shopper Cycle,  Ad Copy, Content Networks, Geo-Targeting & Ad Scheduling, Search Engine Optimization, Affiliate Marketing, Email Marketing and more.

Mr. Hussain offers his knowledge as an instructor with the Stanford Continuing Studies program and is a frequent speaker with Gene Chamson’s Meetup group, Bay Area Net Marketing Alliance.

Though the bootcamp was packed full with great information and little time to spare, a few attendees took a moment to meet and greet!

    One of the things we learned was how important it is to leave comments on blogs, like I am doing here! Each time you post a comment, you’ll get the chance for your brand and keywords to get picked up in the search engines. And you can pick up a backlink to your site. The more backlinks to your site, the higher Google will rank you in its results.

    Here’s something easy you can do: 1) Do a search on Google blogs for your best keyword. 2) Post at least 3 comments each day on new topics on different blogs. At the end of a month you should have nearly 100 new links to your site!
